I've been thinking about making another card with my birdwatcher guy only this time he's visiting Mount Rushmore. Mount Rushmore always makes me think of Hitchcock's North By Northwest when they're hanging of the noses of the presidents,etc...it's always a tense moment and pretty comical, too. I love this guy's big shirt so I chose to paper piece it and the tie. The monument image is a portion of a larger stamp that I originally got to use in OWH cards as it can be very patriotic.

There you are Polly! I was wondering when I would get to see another of your FANTASTIC creations! Well, today is the day! This card is so cool!!! Not only patriotic, but almost a little steampunk too! The paper piecing is wonderful!!! And I LOVE his binoculars!!! Love it all Polly!

Great patriotic card, Polly. Love the Rushmore image as part of your "story" with "birding man". Love his vintage countenence and attire. Your cards always have something to say....luv 'em!
